The launcher checks for new Retro Rewind releases and downloads matching DayTrack patches. If a patch is still being prepared, your working version stays available.

Do I need WheelWizard installed already?
No. This launcher includes the Windows native client and setup tools. You provide your own PAL game backup; Retro Rewind downloads during setup. Allow about 10 GB of free space for setup, plus space for update backups.
Can I use my existing private save?
On its first install, DayTrack can import the previous DarkWolfie private installation on this PC. Reinstalling keeps DayTrack's existing save. Miis can be managed in the launcher's Mii page.
What about Mac and Linux?
The launcher source includes build targets for Linux and macOS. Native DayTrack game packages for those systems are still being prepared; the playable download currently supports Windows.
Will an update overwrite my patches?
The launcher installs a pack only when a matching signed DayTrack client is available. Patch bundles are verified before installation, and the previous game files are backed up.
